| Dear Scouter, There have been a number of changes and additions with regards to Child Protection so it has been decided to produce a City of Coventry Scout County edition of its Child Protection Policy. We hope this provides you with a Code of Good Practice which gives clear guidelines to all those involved in Scouting in the County, in accordance with the Scout Association's policies. Many of you have expressed concerns over various issues relating to this subject and we hope that this site will help to allay your concerns. Positive guidance is found on the yellow card "Young People First" and we do urge every adult to carry a card whether you are uniformed or not. We would also advise all adults to take part in the modular training of "Keeping Children Safe" programme, which can be completed in your own home.
