International Scouting
How big is your world?
The world of Scouting is much bigger than many people realise. Being a Scout means belonging to a huge worldwide family with 28 million members in over 200 countries.
That’s a pretty big family!
Scouting is the largest voluntary uniformed youth organisation in the world. Sharing common ideals expressed in the Promise and Law, its impact is in providing young people with opportunities to learn about each other, celebrate their similarities, understand their differences and suggests ways in which Scouts can contribute to a better world.

International Scouting isn’t just about visits abroad or big events. International Scouting is about learning about and celebrating our place in the world which we live in.
The pages below give some ideas of what that might mean to you in your Scouting.
